Lots of people quit smoking every day. Some of them remain
non-smokers from that moment onwards whilst others find the
whole process too difficult to manage and succumb to the
widely-held view that quitting is difficult.
One means of ensuring that people remain in their existing situation
is to constantly tell them that all the alternatives are too difficult to
achieve. However, if that were the case, how do those who do quit
smoking manage to do so?
If change is to take place, the benefits must outweigh the loss.
This is true whether it involves changing jobs, moving house, ending
a relationship, and so on.
Back to Smoking...
What are the benefits of packing up smoking?
I could start a list and I'm sure you know dozens of other reasons:
· improved health
· more money in pocket
· increased stamina
· become more socially acceptable
What is your likelihood of success?
Firstly, how much do you want to achieve positive change?
Using a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being the highest desire to quit,
work it out for yourself. You alone know how much you want to
pack up smoking. No-one else can make that decision for you.
Indeed, they are on very dangerous ground if they try because we
prefer to make our own decisions. Hypnotherapy can help you to
minimise the cravings and maximise the pleasure of packing up
smoking. Hypnotherapy as an aid to quitting smoking ranks higher
than patches, gum and all the other methods, including
accupuncture and going 'cold turkey'. The many referrals I get from
satisfied clients can testify that Hypnotherapy works! Think about
it... Are you ready to own your life for yourself? Are you ready to be
the master of your own destiny? Are you ready to Quit Smoking
Now!
